How can I stop junk messages entering my yahoo mail box?

Since I joined the Yahoo Q&A club, my box has become a dumping ground for unwanted messages like 'Congratulations You�ve won 5billion dollars'etc,etc. Up to 20 to 30 of this rubbish of a lottery i never for a day solicited keep pumping-in.How do I get rid of all these pse.
