GIRLS- do looks really matter on the opposite and....?

Hey ok so ive been talking to this guy for a few months now.. He has a great personality but hes nothing much to look at. I dont mean to sound big headed but im quite pretty and always gone for good looking lads but theyve always turned out to be liers and cheats.....so im just wondering does looks really matter? and what would u do? he said hes falling for me and i think i am too... I dont mean to sound horrible but ive never dated an ugly guy, x
