Can anyone explain to me why I woke up with writing on my left hand?

I woke up this morning and found writing on my left hand. It was some scribbling like a little child did it. Last night before I went to bed I washed my hands and my face so I know my hands were clean. I can't explain how the scribble scrabble got my hand. There was no pen on my bed or even next to my bed. I'm totally baffled. If anyone knows what this means or had a similiar experience please let me know. Thank you.
