Procedure after having a C-Section?

I want to be sterilized after I have this baby. For me 2 is enough. Before I knew I was having a C-section my doctor had agreed to the Essure procedure (where they cauterize the tubes instead of tying them) but it would have to be some time after delivery. My question is, since they will already have me open can they just do it at the same time? I don't want to have to worry about unplanned pregnancies... Birthcontrol doesn't work on me. I had my son while on the pill and the implants made me sick. My husband won't use a condom. So I'm being the responsible one... besides I'm the one who raised our son... he was completely useless. my son is now 17 months now and loves looking at the ultra sound of his soon to be brother or sister.
