Cat gland problems, what can I do?

i'm a veterinarian by trade, this is a common problem for female cats that have been traumatized early in their lives. the best solution to this is to once a week take your finger (wearing a glove) and stick it into her and mage the gland. do this by inserting finger about half an inch and genlty pushing down and in a counter clockwise rotation. this will stimulate the palpalate gland and eventually stop the secretion
