Is the human Conscience one of the several amounts of proof that Evolution exists?

Considering religion is a maladaptive behavior shown by some of our evolutionary adaptations: emotions, moral intuitions and agency detection, etc... we'll probably have religion around for a couple more millenia in some of its forms. Hopefully we can grow out of our memes and get rid of it as soon as we reach complete understanding of it.
