Does everyones room really match?

My room is pretty nicley decorated with white/cream, gold and dark red accents. I'm a big gators fan though and just bought a whole bunch of college stuff. I've got it displayed in my room and ofcourse blue and orange don't really match my room but if someone comes over to my house are they gonna be like thinking that my room looks bad because my pillows don't match my curtains or something. Is that what people really do or is not everyones bedroom perfectly matched and designed like those ones on TV shows?
